Rest in peace brother.

Rush was my great-grandfather. He was born in 1871 to John Barrett Webster and Emmarette Kingsley and grew up in Whitehall, NY. He married his childhood sweetheart, Eva Lavona Swift and moved to New York were they had four children at the time of his death. My grandfather was the oldest of the four children and he was 12 years old at the time of his father's death. He became the "man of the house" and helped support his mother and siblings by dropping out of school and working in the produce industry as a salesman. Rush Webster was a direct decendent of the first colonial governor of the State of Connecticut.

God Look Over him. This coming from another Webster who thankfully survived 20 years on the NYPD, as did my father and his father.
